Last day at the hidden paradise

It is a pleasant morning, and I am sitting in Hunza Baltit Inn’s (a resort managed by the Serena Hotels)  verandah  feeling very close to nature; the tender breeze, sweet sound of splashing water, colorful birds sitting on apricot trees, sunlight hitting the snow caped Rakaposhi, Golden, Lady finger, and Ultar peaks. All these incredible sceneries leave my eyes stunned and me lost in the abundant beauty of nature bestowed on Hunza.

What can I say about Hunza? This small town and its environment, food, fresh air, pure water, and the loving people – everything about this unique place makes me fall in love with it more and more each passing day. The people of Hunza drink directly from glacial streams in the high Himalayas.The water flowing in the streams is fresh, stimulating, life enhancing,  free of radical scavenging, and is also quite tasty. Every belonging of Hunza has a traditional touch to it which always refreshes you with the beauty of the place. Hunza is famous for hand-embroidered bags, wallets, key-chains, caps, and  local dry fruits. As a tourist, there is just too much to collect and take back home!

I am certain that I have captured each and every spectacular scenery,  and that the true picture imprinted on my mind is unforgettable. My tour to Hunza has been one that will remain in the books of my memories forever.
